Snowy Blessings
I gaze out my door,
It’s not even summer, anymore,
Yet I feel the need for sunglasses,
Not because of the sun,
But because of the twinkling snow that everyone,
Should get several vivid chances,
To indulge in a world,
Of pure awe,
Of things they once saw,
When they were merely children,
Frolicking and singing,
Like canaries just winging,
A song out of their heart when,
They’re gleeful and filled with hope.
All people should get the privilege,
That I take advantage,
Of and don’t realize,
That I am so blessed,
To have the snow and all the rest,
Of the things people consider a prize,
So I wish everyone could feel it.
