We've Been Blind Since...
We’re blinded by the past that we come from
Holding on to the things we can’t amend
Unprepared for events about to come
In black and white---unable to pretend
We’re blinded by the hate we’ve brought about
As dark as a black hole in outer space
Savagely feeding off anger and doubt
Until we can no longer find our place
We’re blinded by the fear to move ahead
Terrified to step through the open door
Not listening to anything that’s said
About the future we have to explore
Lift the veil off our eyes so we can see
How colorful our world can really be
