Blind Love
We always believed that we were in love
Though I felt your pity because I was blind
But I still thought you were the purist dove
Even though people thought you were too kind
I continued to wear love on my sleeve
The sweetness of your love made my heart sway
Then you did it, I was the one deceived
I saw myself at your feet, where I lay
Yet you continued to say you love me
And as I collected my heart it stumbled
The road we had been on was truly bumpy
But I saw through your lie, and I crumbled
One day your love was pure, the next it turned
And in the end I was the one who burned
