Water-flower
The moon reflects off cerulean eyes
His arms like a fortress around her waist
Protecting her from society’s lies
Her soft, vermillion lips all he can taste
Her fingers intertwined with his black hair
He intoxicates himself with her smell
The two lovers break, a large need for air
Their love is strong, only their hearts can tell
“I love you” he whispers, his voice sincere
He places his calloused hand on her cheek
He pushes her stray hair behind her ear
Her heart's pounding faster, her knees go weak
Never a sight as beautiful as this
The power and lust behind true love’s kiss
