The obvious
The moon and the sun dance in the sky
You hate me for reasons I don't know why
The clouds in the sky make random shapes so high
Knowing someone loved me was enough to get me by
When you look at me you smile so fake
In the hot sun someone is sure to bake
We use to have so much fun at the lake
Most people awake at daybreak
I thought you of all people would understand
The sun helps grow up the cropland
Our friendship had to be more than just a dreamland
The sun makes him sweat, the poor old farmhand
Sorry, I thought we were stateing the obvious
I guess backstabbing can never be ageless
