A Wall Between Us
There is a wall between us, you and I
We both built. I can no longer ignore
How we can no longer see eye to eye
I don't want this to go on anymore
We don't understand each other's point of view
It's like we're from completely separate lands
We can't see good in what the other would do
Knocking down sandcastles with our bare hands
I cloak my fear and distrust with humour
I think you feel that you must do the same
No more of this suspicion and rumour
Let's see an end to this silly old game
Help me tear down this wall between us both
Or else this gap between us more will grow.

I'm sure I'm just imagining it, bu this is how I feel about it.
