Our Little Angel
Each day is harder and harder to pass,
all because you will be gone forever.
Your short little life didn’t even last,
I’ll never forget about you, never.
You only lived until the age of two,
then Mitochondria took you away.
I was four and didn’t know what to do,
I was confused at why you couldn’t stay.
My mom came home with tears flooding her eyes,
my dad didn’t speak and just held her close.
I guess at some point we all say goodbye,
and taking my brother is what God chose.
I know he always watches over me,
and in heaven we will hopefully meet.
