Dear Dad
Your selfishness I’m not comprehending.
Nobody expected the act you’d done.
The pain I now have is never-ending.
Your actions don’t benefit anyone.
There’s no explanation that I can find
To justify the wrongs and make them right.
You have already seen the light that’s shined.
I myself would think it far too bright.
Though I hate you with a burning passion,
And don’t agree with the deed you have done,
My heart for you fills up with compassion,
And wishes from this earth you had not run.
Your suicide left so many broken,
But I still miss the words left unspoken.
