To my love
To my love
I see you through the bustling
crowd of flesh,
Flailing your body in ways I cannot.
Our eyes make contact and our souls, they mesh.
In that moment, we are out on a yacht
Sailing the seas of out lives in the sun.
Holding each other’s heart over these years,
Loving each other, having lots of fun,
Sharing emotions like laughter and tears.
The fire of my love for you burns so strong,
No water source could ever extinguish.
Realizing my choices were not wrong.
A shooting star flies by, you were my wish.
As our souls grow old and our love burns bright,
I’ll be next to you every single night.
