"Airborne"
I waited there for my plane to arrive, a newcomer to flying in the clouds./
Hoping to fly safe and turn out alive, I wished that speeding up time was allowed./
After a while, waiting got boring./
It was about time that our flight was called./
My family and I started boarding./ There were four heavy duffel bags we hauled./
I found my seat and prepared for take off./
The jumbo jet raced for the sky./
The clouds looked like cotton: puffy and soft./
I feared planes no more, and soon loved to fly./
I was very brave to soar up above, and fly beyond sight like an airborne dove.//
