Man, I Love My Team

We train everyday with Coach Frances.
She gives hard workouts that one won’t enjoy.
If you cheat on the set then don’t confess.
We use kickboards, fins, and also pull boys.

Her favorite stroke would be butterfly.
We swim lots of laps and pick up our pace
At the end of practice we could die, but
we always get better for the next race.

Can’t dethrone us of our city title,
the tigers have earned it more than the rest.
Our cheering and excitement is vital.
Memorial girls swimmers are the best.

Our team is close and a big family,
we love to swim as one evidently.

This is a poem about my time spent on my high school swim team.
