Nights embrace
Sigh as the nights cold embrace falls away
Giving way to breaking dawn of new days.
Dawns warm fingers lightly brush the black sky
Sadly the warmth does naught but pass me by
In some dark voids even light will be lost
Returning again at too great a cost
Some lost loves may not easily be regained
Causing grief to those who are worst pained
Fair hair and fair skin are no bribe in he**
Where lives are marked by the sad ring of bells.
Into this void is where I now must go,
Witness torture of those whose pain won’t show.
I promise this not to be my farewell,
In the end well meet by ring of the bell.
