My love poem to you
My love poem to you? :
This is a love poem I Guess
Though it won’t be cheesy
Or even I may get queasy
It’s an unromantic mess.
Were you expecting more or less
Even this much makes me uneasy
To try and convey without being sleazy
When all I am really trying to do is ask for a kiss.
I must say I don’t know what to write love
Should I compliment your toes or your hair?
What else, should I compare you to a dove?
Or shall I speak this and say thou art fair
Honestly I don’t know what to do or say
Except to love you my own way.
