Lonely
Gone are the days when the sun would shine
Now are the days of the storms, strife, and anger
This matter cannot be taken lightly
I remember the smile that would linger
Although not dead, the pain's even worse
Emptiness is overwhelming to me
What have I done to deserve this poor curse
Into my heart, no one person can see
He left me lone without any remorse
I will never forget or have regret
I shall continue with this lonesome course
With this I am content and I would bet
At first I was full of sadness only
But now I know I am lone not lonely
