Rainbow Highway
When precious companions fade away
They go to a new place to play
Grassy green hills rolling for miles
Will even leave our old friends with a smile
Plenty to eat, drink and sunshine to go around
To keep our furry friends homeward bound
Disease, age, and injuries are all ridden
For these aspects are all forbidden
Their hearts, empty, as they miss someone dear
That one day they hope to be near
They all play and run
Until one stops from having fun
Ears and eyes are alert bright
As their legs push off into sudden flight
Reunion at last brings them together
For now they’ll be together forever
Sweet kisses and love express well
Now everything seems so swell
Prepare for whatever comes may
As you and your furry friend cross the Rainbow Highway
