bottle of pills
It hurts after so many hours of trying
To find out that the reason you're crying
So easily solved by someone
Who has no idea of what you've done
After screaming in agony every night
To discover you didn't need to fight
That a person you don't know
Can save your soul
It makes you truly wonder
If what you've done to stop the thunder
To prove your strength is real and true
But worth nothing to all but you
Why do they hand me a bottle of pills
Like depression is just a regular spill
I know who I am and what I have done
But am I the only one?
