For A Freind
“Is that enough?” you say in a big huff.
I shake my head and say we must go on.
You act upset although it’s not that tough.
Waiting for new light with the coming dawn.
I don’t see why you’re making this so hard.
I really just hope that you’ll be happy.
If you’d just relax and let down your guard,
you’d see that people aren’t all that scary.
I know it might be a bit rude of me,
to act like I know better than you do.
But if you try to remember you’ll see,
It’s because I used to be just like you.
So in the end I hope you won’t be mad,
I only do this so you won’t be sad.
