"I feel most deeply that the whole subject is too profound for the human intellect. A dog might as well speculate on the mind of Newton. Let each man hope and believe what he can."- Charles Darwin

When the wind ceases to blow through your hair
And when the sparkle falls down your eyes
Time will slow down to the beat of your heart
Look back and see what wounds you have inflicted upon me
See in the glass what emptiness your lips have alone
You held them up to be touched
You never learned they were better made for love
But you wouldn't know that for you misinterpret the word
My love for you is not the one you seek
As mine has dwindled and suffered your sword
His has received your pleads
Looking for thrill and touch
Your lips never spoke enough to what could sustain
They uttered hope that your body nullified

For they looked for a false truth told to you in childhood
Disney never has gotten it right
It isn’t all your fault I must say
As you age you will find cinderella never truly died happy
Elsa and Ana almost got it right
For when you are alone you will finally see
That the time has passed and your wounds upon me inflicted
You will try and rewind I say hopefully
So as snow hits your locks and bruises cover my heart
You will see that your love was truer if it were for me
And I will still be here to receive your cry
Only to see you then go awry
Head bowed down and my sparkle falling
I will love you yet
