The Misfortuned Love Story
His beautiful brown eyes drew me inside;
Looked nothing like those cliché ocean eyes.
His six pack, so defined, made me want to hide;
Muscles bigger than the stars in night skies.
We danced all night to the best song ever,
Hoped the magical day would never end.
We snuck around parents, very clever.
I had lots of fun, while learning to fend.
He was the best mistake I've ever made;
Personality unique, like no one,
On our adventure, we, he and I, swayed
With the wind; until I met someone,
Who, unfortunately, was his brother,
and he ended up being my lover.

I was inspired to write this piece after going to the Bahamas. I met this boy and I really liked him and did everything with him. He was my muse for this Shakespearian Sonnet. It is about love, with a twist. I hope people will get the message that you don't have to love the generic stereotypes. Follow your heart.
