Life is like a river
Memories and people come and go
Their absence makes us shiver
But we learn to cope with this ebb and flow
Life is a game show
We perform to impress the judging crowd
We change our appearances and wear a pretty bow
And stay silent where others are loud
Life is like a painting
Empty without color or change
But filled with new experience gained
Beautifully designed by you, though some think it strange
Life can be anything you want it to be
So live it without worries and just be free
