The battle
Why do I cry? Why is my heart and soul dry?
Was it because the list of memories fell like mist from my eyes
Was it because you broke my heart with so many lies?
It was because you saw me in the end and said I had a flaw
You said you loved me and then left me like it was against the law
You broke my heart and made me deprived
But I have proved you that my heart will no longer be dry
That I will be stronger than you and no longer cry
That I will rise like a fallen warrior who will shout out his battle cry.
For I have found another battle to fight not of lies and flaw
Not of dryness and depravity
And one without the darkness and calamity
But of joy and love.
