Anxiety's Angsty Sonnet of Contempt
You of logic, arguments not exempt.
With endless words and reservoirs of fact.
It’s always you to whom I feel contempt.
You will not let me change the way you act.
I never win the game of endless doubt
As you fill his head with calmness.
He ultimately always drowns me out,
I cannot watch him fall and stand helpless.
One day your facts will bring him down so deep,
His heart will lay shattered at his on feet.
He will wish to lay in an endless sleep
With morale so broken, facing defeat.
You will wish so desperately to save him,
Only to sink in Anxiety’s whim.
