Panera Bread Worthwhile
I am a picky eater. Knowing the ingredients and how everything is made is a must for me. I need to be aware of having something like tomatoes in a sandwich or even fried instead of grilled chicken. When looking at the Panera Bread menu, I noticed all the ingredients were listed as well as how the dishes are prepared. This was a huge win for me. The details of the items are a game changer in making decisions about what I should order.
Another positive about Panera is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the food prep. Everything is done very well and cleanly. When going into the store, all the tables are cleaned and wiped off. When preparing food, the products are made following all precautions regarding food safety.
Freshly. Squeezed. Juices. These are the highlights of my trip to Panera Bread. Strawberry Lemonade Mint is my go-to favorite. The hints of mint in with the Strawberry Lemonade adds a new freshness flavor. The Strawberry Lemonade is sweet and goes along perfectly with the sweetness of mint. Although, they do not overpower each other. The best part about the juices is they are always chilled and ready to go.
Panera’s sandwiches, soups, and salads are amazing. They are always toasted warm, although not too hot where it will burn your mouth. They even offer options for a bread bowl or a normal bowl for take home or dining in. These bowls add a fun twist to the soup. The salads have lettuce that is crunchy and juice making it a refreshing option.
Even Though Panera Bread has its positives, it also has negatives. One negative is the price. For example, a medium 20 fluid ounce soda is $3.09. Compared to the average cost of a 20 oz soda is $2.39. This is 60 cents extra per soda. Another example of this is when looking at their mac and cheese. The cost of a small mac and cheese is $6.89. The cost of a small Chick-fil-A mac and cheese (the same size as Panera) is $2.99. This is about a $4 difference for the same size.
In conclusion, Panera Bread is an amazing option for high quality foods, service, and cleanliness. Although, for the amount of food you are receiving, it is overpriced.
