My Hero
In the article “My Hero” By Samantha Starkey, it started off by telling me about this one girl who wanted to play volleyball just like another girl, but later on she realizes that not only does she want to play like her she actually wants to be her. The other girl finds out and tells her to be herself, and that is very important. I can relate because it is almost like jealousy, it could be like if someone is popular, or if she is prettier than you and you would want to be like them, but it is important to just be yourself and that's what the other girl was trying to say. I thought this article was great and also confusing, but after I understood what is was about it was great. I would love to read more of her work.
