Thank You, America Review
In the November 2013 issue of Teen Ink, Jillian Medugno’s “Thank You, America” surprised me. It surprised me because you see this happening everywhere and you don’t really see people talk about it because they are too embarrassed to. I agree with her article because there are some people that don’t make enough money to support them and their families and they need the assistance. There are some families that need the assistance that don’t get it because they are too ashamed of getting assistance from the government. Then there are some families that lie to get government to get assistance so they can spend their money on other things such as cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, and other things they want but don’t need. I can relate because I have helped give out food to those in need of it at my church. Yes you see the same thing in Ayersville because the church hands out food on certain days and families that need help getting food can go there and get food.
