Breakthrough
A poem by Sydney Traylor, Breakthrough is inspirational and mesmerizing. I believe a multitude of people can relate to her poem, myself included. She explains that people should not "assume that brokenness is synonymous for lack of potential," because broken things are not guaranteed to not work. I loved and admired this poem because it explained my own brokenness in an easy flow of words, that even I could not explain. Her poem describes exactly how I felt about myself and my broken heart in a perfect description. "A chipped tea cup still holds water" and so my chipped and broken heart can still love. Thank you Sydney for expressing in the perfect words exactly how I feel about my own brokenness and my own love for broken things.
