My response to "What Not to Wear" by Morgan C.
The writing titled “What Not to Wear,” written by Morgan Cooley, talks about dress codes. Her writing left me feeling relatable. This article explains how boys have a more laid back dress code as she says, “In our country female students are much more likely to have a long list of rules to follow and clothing they can’t wear, while male students have next to no restrictions.” Most dress codes have outrageous rules and restrictions, and most of them are more focused on girls: “They teach girls that it is their fault if a man can’t control himself or his actions. “ I can relate to this article because I feel like my school does the same thing when it comes to the dress codes and girls.
