Travel Team by mike Lupica
“Your quitting permanently?”
“No mom just for a season.”
This a line from a from the realistic and sport fiction book, Travel Team, by Mike Lupica. The book is about a kid named Danny Walker who loves the sport of basketball. In the story, Danny tries out for a basketball team, but he does not make it because of his height, so he and his dad go and make a team for all the cutoffs to give them second chance.
My opinion on the book Travel Team is that, all around, it is a very good book. Lupica’s style was really good, too. What I liked about the book was that it was about basketball, which is the best sport ever. What made me keep reading was that the author made so good and went into detail and how he made the child so good at basketball. I would recommend this book to people who like sports and who like a little bit a sad stories. This book will keep you balling for more.
