Soul Surfer

Soul surfer is a wonderful book that is a true story about a teenage girl named Bethany Hamilton. The story takes place in Kauai in Hawaii. On Halloween morning Bethany goes surfing with her friends, and then it happened, it only took a second Bethany looked down to the water . The water that surrounded her was all red, she looked to her side and saw that she didn’t have an arm, she then realized that she got attacked by a shark.

I think this story makes such an amazing book because it’s so inspiring to people. In this book you can tell that she has so much passion for surfing and that you can do anything you put your mind to, She didn’t have a arm but that didn’t stop her from surfing. I really like when after her surgery she says “when can I surf again” I think that is so inspiring because she never lost her faith after the attack.

This book is great for all ages, and the people who wants to read about Bethany Hamilton life as a surfer.
