Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson
High School Senior Tyler Miller used to be invisible. But since he got busted for spray-painting the school walls, he spent the summer doing community work. By the end of the summer, he transforms from a geek to the amazing hulk. His new appearance attracts Bethany Milbury (Tyler’s secret crush). Who happens to be his father’s boss’ daughter and the sister of his biggest enemy. That sets off a chain of events that have Tyler questioning his place in the world.
“Twisted” is an absolutely, amazing book. The way Laurie Halse Anderson explains the main character’s emotions is brilliant! While I was reading this book, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It made me want to keep reading. I would recommend this book to anyone, any day. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it.
