Have you ever had to move to a different state and had to go to a new school and start your life over again and get bullied. Well in this book (The Bully) Darrel had to move into another state because his dad had gotten diagnosed with cancer but the doctors stopped the cancer but he couldn’t work yet because the cancer made him feel weak. Darrel and his family had to move to California and live with his uncle because his parents couldn’t pay for the place they lived. Darrel had to get a job a food place to help his parent pay to live with his uncle he also had to start his school year over at Blueford High. He started getting bullied at school but not only at school by the grocery store too. He started getting bullied because some kids saw him walking to the store and on the way to the store they ambushed him. They hit him with a bat and knocked him out and took his money and every sense that day he been getting bullied by the same person at school every day. But one day he decided to stand up for himself and pushed the bully. The bully went smack on the floor and all you heard was a crack. The bully had broken his wrist. After that happen the bully stop mess with him no more.
