The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is an amazing book. It has 180 pages. Its main two characters are Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade. The book takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when the Curtis brothers (Darrel, Sodapop, and Ponyboy) loose their parents in an automobile accident and Darry is stuck taking care of his younger brothers. The book describes the lives of the Curtis brothers and the rest of the greaser gang: Dallas Winston, also known as Dally, Two-Bit Matthews, Steve Wanders, and Johnny Cade. I am 13 years old, which is 16 years younger than the book and I’m in love with this book. It is so far the best book I have ever read.
My opinion of the book is it is by far the most amazing book ever. Dally; Darry and Soda are my favorite characters in the book and movie. This book I would rate five stars, but I would give it more if I could. The Outsiders is my favorite movie/book. It never gets old I love it! If you read this book, you will not regret it. Trust me!
