Brains Hunt by Gary Paulsen
The novel I am reading is Brian's Hunt by Gary paulsen,The main character, Brain is a kid who has lived in the woods most of his life and couldn't find himself living any other way but he soon finds out that he is not alone he has discovered a wounded dog crying and alone as he wonders what could have happened to the dog and who are what could have caused the injury he soon realizes he should check on his friends just north of where he is as he gets closer to them he feels like something is not right when he becomes on the hunt to find out what had happened to his new companion. The audience i would recomend for this book is anyone who enjoys the outdoors and hunting. I would give this book 4 stars because it is very interesting and always leaves you wanting to read more. One part of the book that i think is important is when Brian wakes up in the night and discovers a wounded dog on the shore line as he approaches he learns it is friendly he fixes his wounds and made him some food. He slowly learns how much he loves the companionship and making a new friend. In this part he really starts to become more mature.
