Crackback written by John Coy, there’re two characters in the book that plat huge roles, the first one being Manning who is a WR on the team who always has a positive attitude toward things, but also try to do things his way such as catching the ball rather than doing it the way coach taught him. Coach Stahl is always says there is room for improvement. The team had the game of there life and Coach Stahl still wasn’t satisfied about what had transpired and Manning tried to help/defend his team by saying, “we played the best game we could ever play” then coach says “NO…you didn’t”.

This book is about how things that can be token away from you all in one play, the moment that can’t be missed is that when Manning’s dad said when someone came by his office and told that they had saw Manning running during practice. That was the turning point of the book because Manning didn’t like upsetting his father because it would put too much pressure upon him to do good and keep it that way.

The type of audience this book would draw are people who like/love sports or just the game of football because in some ways you can relate to it such as you and your coach not being on the same page with things going on the field and off. If I had to decide on how many stars to give this book I would give it four stars because most people who love the sport can say yeah I know what it feels like to be in that position and say It’s not a good one and you can also learn from it as a lesson to not to take things for granted.
