Bewteen Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
Ruta Sepetys’ s Between Shades of Gray tells you that one girl’ s voice breaks the silence of history. Lina Vilkas is the main character. She and her family live in Lithuania in the 1941. This book is a standalone novel. The book is a wonderful book that tells the truth about the World War 2 and what Hitler did to Jewish people in Europe.
Lina and her family are taken from their home in Lithuania. Lina doesn’t know where her father is. Jonas, her brother, her mother, Elena, and she are asked to get things. Then they go and get in the wagon. They meet a lot of new people. They meet Andruis, his mother, Mr. Stalas, Mrs. Rimas, Kretzsky, a K.N.V.D officer, and Jsnina. The book tells you where they go far into Russia.
I recommend this book for everyone it is a very good book. Ruta has good wording. This book can be read when you are in middle school. Ruta has many award winning books but this one is the best.
This book is the best. You should read it. The book is sad but also happy. Ruta Sepetys has many books but I think this one is the very best. The book Lina is a 15 year old girl who lives with her mom, dad, and her brother. Lina, her brother, and her mother get taken away.
