The Fear by Charlie Higson
The Fear By: Charlie Higson
Puffin Books, 2011, 486 pp.
Fiction
You try to survive in a horde of zombies that are hungry for meat and brains.
You’re in a safe house with a crew that has traveled for a while to me I would be
exhausted and scared.
Dognut and his crew left the Tower of London, so they can find some
survivors that have been left behind by their crew. Then, they went to find some
fighters to help a friend name David expand his kingdom. He meets his old
friend’s jester and shadowman and they all group together to survive the horde of
zombies. Will Dognut and his crew survive these nasty hungry machines or will they get
ripped apart by the horde of zombies because they are hungry for meat and brains.
The authors purpose about this book is to entertain and to me I was very
entertained. Of how he showed the excitement and how he showed what they were
going to do to escape from the horde of those zombies. To me I think his writings very
powerful because with his words in some sentences he has some powerful words that
will make you really excited and makes you wonder what’s going to happen next in
the story will it go bad will it go good I don’t know you’re just going to have to find out.
The strengths and weaknesses about this book are when it has its persuasive and action
words and his weaknesses are that the book has some boring parts in the book.
My thoughts about this book are its kind of scary and exciting at the same time
because sometimes in my mind its saying that “I really want to know what’s going to
happen next and then when I still think about it its saying “I really don’t want to know
what’s going to happen next “at the same time. The impression the book left me
with were freedom, and horror and the people who are going to read this book next
should think what’s going to happen in this book and think about the words the authors
telling you.
