The book I will be talking about is the Maze Runner by James Dashner.  The book is a New York #1 Bestseller.  James Dashner also made a trilogy and a prequel to this book.  This book is very interesting and will keep you on your seat the whole time.  The characters make the book even better because the characters are funny and very lovable.  This is the book I’m writing about.
The Maze Runner is an excellent book by James Dashner.  The novel is about a boy named Thomas who suddenly wakes up in a large, gigantic maze.  He has no memory of where he came from and who he is.  The only thing he can remember was his name.  There were kids almost the same age as Thomas called Gladers.  They told him that some of them had only been there for only a couple months and some of them had been there for more than two years.  He began to fit in with the Gladers and Thomas started to make new friends.  Thomas joins the Runners to look for a way out of the maze.
A month after Thomas came to the Glade, a girl shows up.  A month after she arrives no more supplies come to the maze.  At night, the Maze never closed down its walls.  The Gladers soon started to panic and blamed Thomas and Teresa for all the changes that had been happening.  Thomas soon finds a way to get out of the maze.  He convinces some of the Gladers to come with him.  They fight for their lives to find a way out.
I love this novel because it is very suspenseful.  The novel will keep you on your seat the whole time.  The novel will get you attached to the characters and make you feel like you're actually part of the story.  The author uses many symbols and figurative language in the novel to help you relate to what is happening in the novel.  Some symbols in the Maze Runner that I found is the word WICKED.  This symbolizes the evil people working against Thomas.  Overall I recommend this novel to anyone.
