In the book from ESSJ to SCU and back, tells a story about Enrique s. Flores as he was growing up and was a gang member of the norteneos at the age of 12 because he was influenced and didn't have anyone to tell him that choosing the gang life isn't right. But then he relies that the gang life is not for him because he saw how many people died around him and how being in a gang isn't going to get him any where in life and hes not going to get anything out of it. So he gets out of it and decides to go to SCU college and get his degree and actually become something in life. As he was in college he saw hoe many young kids, teen agers were going threw what he went threw as a chilled so he decides to write a book and inspire those who are not doing good and hopefully by reading his book they relies what he did and change their life around.-Breeanna Avalos, March 14,2009
