Percy Jackson: The Lighting Thief by Rick Riordan
You know how they say don't judge a book by its cover. Thats not exactly true for Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson: The Lighting Thief. Its a fantastic cover for a fantastic book. Percy Jackson is a troubled kid from New York that happens to the son of Posiden. When Zesus lighting rod gets stolen it Percy be the one to find it.
My favorite part is when he is explaning that he has horrible luck on fieldtrips tells how he had a accident with a cannon and drowning his class and many other things.
Percy Jackson has a way to be salty as he tells the story even though the seriuos things. Even though he does this it stills get all the emotion across sometimes more emotion.
If you're wondering if this is the book for you just answer these questions. Are you able to read? Do you like being lazy? If you answered yes to any of these questions, it's the book for you.
