In Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck has created a gripping tale of friendship. About two of the best friends Lennie and George. Lennie is big, strong, and a little slow but very kind. George is slim, smart, dark skinned, and very defined. There a very odd couple but there the best of friends. In Salinas valley California in the early 1900's as laborers on a ranch. Chasing a dream of owning an acre of land and a shack. But lennie gets in to trouble with a flirtatious woman. It about a simpler time with a simple friendship and simple dreams to own land. I would recommend to people who like classic books. This book is good because it very detailed and easier to understand for people who like thrilling and gripping tale about friendship
