Crossover by Kwame Alexander
The realistic fictional novel-in-verse story of Josh, Jb and chuck “Da Man” Bell is a story of brotherhood and family that most young adults can relate to. The crossover has won the John Newbery Award and The Coretta Scott King award. I think the author like poem’s. The theme of the story is to always believe in yourself.
The plot of the story is Josh and Jb dad’s health because there dad can end up in the hospital or dead. Also how josh lost the bet and his locks and josh worked hard for them.
The theme of the story is to never lose something you love. Also the story is about the importance of his family.
I recommend this book because it is relatable to teens know in days.
