WE ARE MARSHALL!
The touching movie “We Are Marshall” is a docudrama of what happened in the early 1970’s. A terrible plane crash that killed 36 Marshall University football players, and 9 coaches left their loved ones and their town devastated and in shock. The movie acts out the events that occurred the day of November 14, 1970 and the events that might have happened after that. The movie tells the point of view of different people that were majorly affected by the event. When the school was ready to give up football, Nate Ruffin (Anthony Mackie) had something inside him that didn’t want to give up. In the end the school, loved ones, and town of the original football team got themselves together and put up a fight against the emotions that faught them and were able to make a new football team.
