Titanic
Excitement, tension or sadness…that all make us feel one of the most famous movies ever – the movie Titanic. The film is based on a real event. One night in 1912, the steamship Titanic was damaged by glacier and after less that tree hours it sank to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. More than thousand and five hundred people died. In the film there is shown the whole voyage of the biggest and greatest ship in the world. In starring role are Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater. Personally, I think that they both showed everyone fabulous performance.
The whole film discusses the sinking of the magnificent ship and concurrently fictive story about two members of different social classes who fell in love aboard the ship. Jack Dawson, one of the poorest but on the other hand one of the freest people, charmed a young girl from the highest social class there was. She was not satisfied and happy in her life. She felt misunderstood in this society, but when she met Jack, everything changed for her. It did not take a long and their friendship changed in love. But everything went wrong when the ship had hit an iceberg. At the end many people including Jack died.
As I see it, the film has a brilliant atmosphere. It makes on us so many different emotions during the whole film. The overall visual rendering of the film was also perfect. The creators worked on every detail.
The only little worse thing about the film is that the film lasts more than three hours. It is not a short time and film with such a long duration is not for everyone. Personally, I think that the film could be fifteen minutes shorter and nothing important would change.
Overall, in my view, the film is excellently rendered and has a brilliant atmosphere. I would recommend the film to everyone because there can be seen the whole tragedy that happened, and everybody should know that. We can also see the superficiality of people there. On the other hand, women would like the romantic side of film, which is absolutely fabulous.
