The Notebook
This heart filled and warm movie made from an epic novel by Nicholas Sparks; without a doubt, was one of the best summer romance movies in 2004. Just the gentle relaxing mood of this movie will make you love it. The storyline is about a young country boy (Noah Calhoun) from Seabrook, North Carolina whose family doesn't have much money that falls in love with a beautiful, outgoing rich girl (Allie Hamilton). Rich and poor don't go well together so of course they soon have to separate from each other due to the fact that Allie's parents does not approve of Noah. They send her to a school far away out of Noah's reach and after 7 years Allie falls in love with her soon-to-be husband, Lon Hammond Jr. When Allie returns to Seabrook, she has to choose between her first love and fiancée. If you are a sucker for love stories, this movie will more than likely make you pull out your tissues and handkerchiefs. It's a movie that will make your inner little girl come out. The actors that play the characters also make this movie more brilliant and amazing than it already is.
