Hatchet
I wrote a review on the book Hatchet by Gray Paulsen. It is an adventure novel which catches the reader's imagination through the whole book.
This story is about a boy named Brian Robeson who was going on a trip to see his father. On the way there his plane crashed and he was stuck wounded on an island with nothing but a hatchet that his mom had given him on the ride there. Also Brain has this secret his about why his mom and his dad split up and its haunting him every time he thinks about this mom and dad together.
Brian is my favorite character because his down to eat and his also a quick and good problem solver. He has also been through a lot of stuff that I can relate too.
I think this book has an awesome storyline. I also won a Newbery award. I think this because the author worded this book well. I rate this book 4.5 star because this book is great but I really didn't like the ending. I recommend this book to people how like adventure books and books that you can relate to them.
