One Tree Hill
One Tree Hill is an American drama television series that aired in 2003. It takes place in North Carolina in a small town named ‘Tree Hill’. The show revolves around two half-brothers, Nathan and Lucas Scott, who aren’t too fond of each other. This series isn’t like the other cliché shows that you may have seen on television. One Tree Hill is an inspirational series which will really make you change your perspective on life. It shows many life lessons that are relatable to teenagers, some profound. Some of the profound subjects the show talks about are drugs, sexual assault and bullying. Other lessons that you will learn in this series can be the difference between good and bad relationships, whether that’s a significant other or your best friends. Additional lessons could be how harsh society can actually be on people, money doesn’t always buy you happiness, or giving people second chances sometimes can be good. At the beginning of the series some of the characters that you will meet are Lucas and Nathan Scott, Brooke Davis, Haley James, and Peyton Sawyer.
The One Tree Hill series can be an emotional rollercoaster. The way the script is written and how the scenes are acted out, you fall in love with the characters and just want to keep watching. One Tree Hill can be very dramatic and lots is put into each episode. Heartbreak, laughter, anger, and admiration are just some of the emotions that you will feel while watching this show. One Tree Hill is rated TV-14 for its mild profanity, violence, and partying all revolving around teens.
Some of the downsides to One Tree Hill is that sometimes the series drags out. At certain points in the series, to some, it may seem boring. Also, in some episodes, there can be lots of negativity and that might not be enjoyable to some veiwers. IMBd rates One Tree Hill 7.7/10 and google says that 95% of “google users” like the show. If you are looking for a show that will inspire you, this is the series for you. The characters, especially Brooke Davis, grow and develop as they become older and experience difficulties in life.
I highly recommend One Tree Hill if you are looking for a show that has drama, heartbreak, inspiration, and suspense.
