Call Of Duty Ghosts on Multi-Platform
“Does the first next generation Call of Duty live up to its expectation?”
According to many gaming reviews, such as NGT,“ Call of Duty Ghosts’s game play is set up as one of the most memorable in the series” and can quite possibly be the best next generation game. Call of Duty Ghosts campaign starts out in a post apocalyptic world on its hinges. Many have said that it is one the of the most challenging campaigns in all of the series, due to the intense action it has to offer, despite its quality, it does have its ups and downs. Clearly the story is immensely good and challenging, but after a few missions the story starts to get off into a tangent that has no meaning in what the player has to do, but after a few meaningless loops the story will come back and the end will leave you with mixed emotions.
Multiplayer has been a big part of the Call of Duty series it brings big competition between many players. In Call of Duty Ghosts the multiplayer is very intense and entertaining, they brought back a real fun game mode called infected in which players act as survivors but one is infected and the survivors have to try and defeat the infected player. Many people were excited that it was back which boosted sales because of it. They also have added new game modes and a new perk system, as well as a new unlocking systems. This was a risky move because many people do not accept change.
Call of Duty Ghosts took a huge step and added a new co-op mode called extinction, which takes placed in a post apocalyptic world over run by aliens, it starts out as the U.S military fighting to destroy alien hives by using a drill, many fans of the series were very excited because of this, especially huge Black Ops Zombies fans. This new mode added new features such as choosing your own class and being able to upgrade using points in the game and having different challenges. Many have complained about the difficulty of this mode, the mode was actually very intense and challenging which made it all that fun. After beating the mission there is no meaning in going back since there is nothing else to do. After finishing extinction it leaves you wanting for more since there is only one chapter to play. The down part of this mode is that it’s not round based but destination based. Over all Call of Duty Ghosts was an awesome game and definitely deserves the title of the best next generation game, but that's for the player to decide.
