Crysis 3 on xbox 360
Crysis 3 Review
When my friend told me that this game was awesome he wasn’t kidding. It intrigued me with its amazing graphics, weapons, and themes that make me want to keep pushing to the end every time I play it. If you like FPS (first person shooters) you will love this game. The character you play as, Prophet, is a super soldier who is like a crazed super hero on steroids. The theme is amazingly thrilling and is what drives me to keep playing after I die.
(Bernd Diemer) did a great job with the graphic designs. All of the explosions and characters look like what they should look like. Your suit looks like a human is in it, your enemies are life like and disturbingly react to every move you make. Every object looks real from barrels to helicopters and dune rovers with tracking missiles attached to its top. When you cloak you can still be spotted if you run into your enemy which can be challenging. The trees are alive in their own 3D game kind of way. The controls respond quickly so you can whip around and attack someone or something behind you. There are no glitches and everything you pick up or drive is something you could use against an enemy.
Weapons are essential in this game. You can use almost anything to kill a CELL enemy like oxygen tanks to chairs and carts. You can use small hand guns to mini guns to even Ceph weapons such as the Bolt Sniper, Pinch Rifles and, Molecular Arrestors. You also get the predator bow which has explosive arrows, shock arrows, regular, and sticky timed explosive arrows. If you run out of ammo and you just got into a fight you can use grab and choke moves on the Cephs that are small to medium in size and then take their weapons. One problem I have with this game is that it takes so long to kill the bigger Ceph aliens. Special weapons are more effective on aliens and large but RPG’s and explosives work fine too. You basic ultimate weapon is your Nanosuit. It gives you the abilities to use CELL technology and to hack into alien and human weaponry, such as the turrets and doors. You can also use and unlock power stomps and super melee attacks.
The theme of this amazing game is that you are trying to take down a whole army of Ceph and CELL enemies. The Ceph and CELL are enemies with each other but are also trying to kill you. They are both your enemies so you are trying to kill them. You take on the role of Prophet, a super soldier as he returns to New York in 2047, 24 years after the happenings of Crysis 2. You discover it has been put in a giant Nanodome created by the sinister CELL Corporation. The New York City Liberty Dome is an urban rainforest teeming with, dense swamplands, overgrown trees and raging rivers. Within the Liberty Dome, seven distinct and strenuous environments become known as the Seven Wonders. You, Prophet, are said to be on a mission for revenge after figuring out the truth behind CELL's goals for building the giant Nanodomes. The people were told that the giant structures were built to protect the population and to clean the destroyed ruble of the remains of the Ceph aliens. Except the Nanodomes is CELL’s attempt at grabbing land and technology for their quest for global domination by using debt enslavement.
If you happen to come across this game don’t pass it up. It is just as good and for me way better than any call of duty game including GHOSTS. Just as a heads up this is a really long game so it will take time to finish. There is also if you get the expansion pack a hunters mode where you can go online with Xbox Live to play against other “Prophets”. All in all this is one of the greatest games invented and probably will be for some time.
