Titanfall on Xbox One
Titanfall Review
Titanfall is a brand new video game just released for X-box One and Computers. I have played the game for a while now, and this is what I have found; the overall game is amazing. It has stunning graphics and an entertaining gameplay. It solely an online game which requires you have to have an internet connection at all times. I personally love this, because I am only an online gamer and often skip single-player sections of games. This can cause problems for others who love single-player and can cut off a large section of buyers. They do offer an online campaign which is basically the same as playing online with a few mini-movies between games. They also failed to give you much variety or customization. There is a small selection of weapons, game modes, and characters. Also you have no customization control over your character. The ability to customize your character and robot would have taken this game to a new level of excellence. Even with the lack of variety and often playing a similar game type over and over the game is addicting. The online play can lag from time to time, but for the most part it runs smoothly. When it is running smoothly you will not find a game with gameplay as grasping is this. The ability to be a small pilot or ride in a giant robot called a titan makes for an extremely versatile play style for every player. The makers did an excellent job of making the Titans not to strong and also making the weapons all about equal which makes the game fairer. Although they missed a few opportunities to make this the best game of all time it is still one of my favorites to come out in a long time, and has potential to become one of the best video game series of all time. I am looking forward to seeing the next game in this series. I would give this game four and half stars out of five.
