Yale Young Global Scholars
Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) brings together students from 150+ countries and 50 U.S. states to discuss innovative academic topics with Yale professors and instructors. Taking place at Yale University, YYGS emphasizes an open, exploratory, and collaborative approach to learning with two-week sessions in STEM, social sciences, and humanities.
At YYGS, participants explore future areas of study, make lifelong global friendships, and experience campus university life. YYGS emphasizes learning for the sake of learning, and students participate in a noncompetitive environment where they are encouraged to share global perspectives and contribute openly to classroom discussions.
YYGS is dedicated to increasing education access for students of all backgrounds, and each year we offer $3 Million USD in need-based financial aid to U.S. domestic and international students.
The dates for this program are: June 23-July 5, July 2-July 19, and July 21-August 2.
“I cannot express how inspired the program has made me. YYGS not only provided me with an extraordinary learning experience but also allowed me to forge connections with a global community of bright minds. It was a truly transformative journey filled with invaluable learning, moments of laughter, and the opportunity to make lifelong friendships and memories. I am immensely grateful for this experience.”
